Present field of investigation of our group is a sapphire shaped crystals growth. Development and optimization of this process requires solving a number of theoretical and technological tasks. Here are the main of our directions of work:

- Growth systems development and optimization

- Improvement and modernization of Stepanov technique (EFG, NCS, GES).
- Sapphire crystals of complex cross-section
- Crystallographic orientation's precise control system 
- As-grown crystals with minimal size deviations
