Linear Photo-Galvanic Effect in Heterostructures

Theory of the Linear Photo-Galvanic Effect (LPGE) is developed for intrasubband (Drude) absorption in heterostructures. Wurtzite two-dimensional systems are considered in detail. It is shown that the theory describes experimental data on LPGE in AlGaN/GaN heterostructures.
