THIRD ANNOUNCEMENT

It may be slightly changed. The conference will be held at
the Big Hall of the Main Building of the Ioffe Institute
(Politekhnicheskaya 26). All participants will be freely
permitted at the Ioffe Institute by showing their passports
at the entrance.
However, please read an
important message about the access to the institute.
The participants will be accommodated at three hotels:
Orbita,
Akademicheskaya (Nauka-2),
and at the
Ioffe Institute Hotel.
A list of Russian participants which
presents accommodation place and arrival-departure dates is
available here.
- ORBITA
, prospekt Nepokorennykh 4, is as far as one tram stop
from the Ioffe Institute. To reach the hotel from the Moscow
Railway Station, please use the metro line 1 to the station
Lesnaya, and then nonstop free-of-charge bus No. 80 from the
metro station Lesnaya to the metro station Ploschad Muzhestva
(5 minute drive). Instead of bus No. 80 one can equally use
route taxi No. 69 to the metro station Ploschad Muzhestva.
Prospekt Nepokorennykh starts from Ploschad Muzhestva
(cf. the scheme).
- AKADEMICHESKAYA (NAUKA-2)
, prospekt Engelsa 65, is the hotel
of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
To reach it from the Moscow
Railway Station, please use the metro line 3 to the metro
station Nevsky prospect - Gostiny Dvor, then change from
line 3 to line 2, go to the metro station Udelnaya,
move to Engelsa prospekt (about 150 m) and cross it.
One can reach the Ioffe Institute from NAUKA-2 in many ways
(please consult the scheme). For
instance, take any tram along Engelsa prospekt to
Svetlanovskaya Ploschad and then tram 55 or 40
to the Politekhnicheskaya stop.
- IOFFE INSTITUTE HOTEL (NOTs PTI)
is located near the
Politekhnichesky park (between the park and the Khlopina street),
five minute walk from the Ioffe
Institute. Every participant accommodated there has been
informed about its location personally.
Accommodation (hotel) expenses of Russian participants will
be covered in accordance with their period of stay indicated
in the list of participants (see above). Living expenses
(per diem) will be covered for the conference period
(not larger than three days).
Travel expenses will also be covered (at least partly).
Although the weather is not predictable this year,
the scientific weather is expected to be excellent -
hot, shining and stormy!
