We show that the basic properties and universal behavior of strongly correlated Fermi-systems can be described in the framework of the fermion condensation quantum phase transition. The concept of fermion condensation may be fruitful when studying finite Fermi-systems, ultra-cold gases in traps and problems of the particle-antiparticle symmetry breaking observed in Universe.
