We examined archival mid-infrared images of the Vela and Geminga pulsars obtained with the Spitzer Space Telescope. The Vela-pulsar counterpart candidate is firmly detected in the 3.6 and 5.8 micron bands and the Geminga counterpart is detected in the 3.6 micron band. We also derived upper limits of the objects fluxes in others bands of the Spitzer IRAC and MIPS detectors. We show that Vela and Geminga pulsars demonstrate a strong emission excess in the mid-infrared as compared to the optical bands. Possible interpretations of the excess are discussed.
