Central Compact Objects in Supernova Remnants

G. G. Pavlov

Central Compact Objects (CCOs) is a class of thermally-emitting neutron stars in central regions of supernova remnants. They show no pulsar activity (such as radio and gamma-ray emission, or a pulsar wind nebula), and no optical counterparts. Very likely, these are neutron stars with relatively low magnetic fields, dubbed "antimagnetars". I will review the current status of our knowledge on these interesting objects.
