We extend our analytic model [Phys. Rev. C 82, 044609 (2010)] which parameterizes astrophysical S-factors for non-resonant fusion reactions as a function of center-of-mass energy E of the colliding nuclei. We present a simpler parametrization, containing a reduced number of fit parameters which have simple physical meaning. To illustrate our parametrization, we use it to describe our previous and new calculations of S(E) (using the Saõ Paolo potential and the barrier penetration formalism) for about 5000 reactions involving stable and unstable isotopes of Be, B, C, N, O, F, Ne, Na, Mg, and Si. In this way we obtain an accurate, compact, simple, and uniform database for these reactions which can be used, for instance, to study nuclear burning and nucleosynthesis in the crust of accreting neutron stars.
