(PhD Thesis report)

The main objectives of the investigation are the calculation of the angles between the different axes in radio pulsars without interimpulses and with interimpulses using different methods, verification, clarification and correction of these methods to determine levels of radiation generation at different frequencies, draw conclusions about the physical processes in the magnetospheres of pulsars and possible ways of evolution of these objects.

A number of new results is obtained in the thesis. The equations for determination of the angle β for different forms of the observed profile were derived. It was revealed that using the observed widths of the pulse profile W10 and the maximum of the derivative of the position angle of polarization in the average profile the ratio of the radius of the cone of radiation to the minimum distance to the line of sight from the center of the cone can be accurately calculated. It was confirmed that radio pulsars with interimpulses can be divided into two subgroups: orthogonal and aligned rotators. It is shown that pulsars with interimpulses and β∼90° several times younger than aligned pulsars.
