Ferromagnetic glasses

Arrays of ferromagnetic granules compose a family of novel materials that are studied both theoretically and experimentally. The sophisticated interplay of magnetism, Coulomb blockade, disorder, and tunnel coupling leads to quite interesting transport properties. We have studied the magnetic structure and magnon spectra of these arrays. Refs? The present studies in the framework of this topic are focused on transport and magnetoresistance in ferromagnetic granules. They are made in collaboration with Rzhanov Institute of Semiconductor Physics, Novosibirsk, Russia.
