The problem of correlation of two non-stationary signals is considered. Each signal is represented as a sequence of flashes occurring at different times in different spectral ranges. To solve the problem of detecting the relationship between two non-stationary signals, a new type of the WCF wavelet correlation function is introduced. This correlation function of WCF allows one to detect the interdependence of individual bursts of different channels, having the same frequency, but different times of occurrence. The WCF function is built on the basis of continuous wavelet transforms of two signals taken at different points in time. For the experimental data under consideration, a classification of the correlations of flares of two channels is carried out. The proposed solution to the problem of correlation of nonstationary signals makes it possible to trace the propagation of disturbances in the cerebral cortex (traveling waves) and to reveal the synchronization of the movement of evoked potentials.
