Scope

The program will traditionally include lectures by invited speakers, oral presentations and several poster sessions. The lectures and oral presentations will generally concentrate on the most recent advances in the following areas:
  • electronic properties of nanotubes
  • synthesis and properties of graphene and nanographite
  • carbon superlattice
  • synthesis and properties of carbon onions and nanodiamonds
  • inorganic fullerenes and nanotubes
  • synthesis and chemical properties of fullerene derivatives
  • carbon cluster formation and phase transitions in nanocarbons
  • photoelectric and optic properties of fullerenes and nanotubes
  • biological and medical aspects of nanocarbons
  • methods of nanocarbon characterizations
  • industrial applications of nanocarbons

    Presentations on Other Topics Related to Nanocarbons can be also included in the Program.


    The Organizers are pleased to welcome members of the world nanocarbon community to St Petersburg.
