PRESENTATION

The conference is fully equipped with electronics and computers. Speakers are encouraged to prepare their talks in an electronic form and bring them to the conference on digital carriers (CD, DVD disks, flash drive), however they may also use their own laptops for presentation. Oral presentations using transparences will also be available. The basic operating system at the conference will be Windows XP and Windows VISTA. Mac and Linux users can prepare their talks either in universal graphic formats (GIF, JPG, JPEG, TIF), or in PDF format. In the latter case, the option using embedded fonts is preferable for transferring the file into PDF. To avoid any compatibility problems, the Windows users who use MO Power Point, should avoid the latest versions of this program, we can recommend the version 2003 or 2007 which looks quite safe. Each poster presentation may cover the area of 100 x 80 cm.

Abstract submission

In your e-mail message please specify the authors and title of each of your abstracts and if you prefer an oral talk or a poster display. Most of the oral talks at MOLEC-17 are 20 min long (+ 5 min for discussion). It is possible to present both an oral talk and a poster display. Abstracts should be e-mailed to the Local organizers at: molec17@mail.ioffe.ru
before June 2-nd and in any case not later than in July 21 in the form explained below, in order to be included in the booklet of abstracts. The oral talks may not be guaranteed as they will be selected by the Organizing committee.
The abstract file name should have the format: topic-name.pdf; for instance,
PMI-Pravilov.pdf would mean that participant Pravilov will present his abstract under topic PMI (Photon-matter interactions: spectroscopy, photodissociation and photo-induced reactions including femtosecond dynamics: see list above). If you intend to present more than one paper in a topic then put sequential numbers in the file name: e.g., PMI-Pravilov-1.pdf, PMI-Pravilov-2.pdf, etc). If you cannot submit your abstract in PDF format then please provide us with a Postscript (PS), MS-Word Document (DOC), or Rich Text Format (RTF) file.
Abstracts should preferably be prepared along the following rules. Page size: A4 (297x210 mm), portrait display, margins of 25 mm all around. Title: single-spaced, Times New Roman, 14 points, boldface. Authors: single-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 points. Affiliation: single-spaced, Times New Roman, 12 points, italic. E-mail address of presenting author: single-spaced, Times New Roman, 12-points. Abstract text: 1.5 spaced, Time New Roman, 12 points. The references in the text should be given in square brackets, e.g. [1]. Only black-and-white figures are allowed. Authors should make sure that the file does not include copyright fonts or other impediments for reproduction. The abstract should be no larger than one page. An abstract template is given here:
