Visa Support Participants who need a visa to enter Russian Federation are to complete the relevant fields in the Visa Form and send it with a scanned copy of the passport page with a photo to Organizing Committee by e-mail. To attend the scientific event in Russia one should apply for humanitarian visa. The official Invitation letter from the Ioffe Institute is necessary for Russian humanitarian visa application of the participants from the EU countries. It takes approximately 2 weeks for receiving the original of the Invitation letter after completing the Visa Form. An official Invitation Letter will be issued by Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation for the participants from other countries (UK, USA, Canada, Australia etc.). It takes one and half month to issue this letter after completing the Visa Form. The procedure of issuing humanitarian visa in Russian Embassies and Consulates takes 10-14 days after application, depending on the country. Important: All foreign visitors entering Russia must have a valid passport (expire date not earlier than 6 months after the departure date). The invitation will be issued for the staying period from October 27 to November 4, 2018, if not otherwise specified in the Visa Form (in Comments).
