The State Hermitage Museum is a museum of art and culture in Saint Petersburg Russia. The largest in the world, it was founded in 1764 when Empress Catherine the Great acquired an impressive collection of paintings from the Berlin merchant Johann Ernst Gotzkowsky. The museum celebrates the anniversary of its founding each year on 7 December, Saint Catherine's Day.
It has been open to the public since 1852.
Its collections, of which only a small part is on permanent display, comprise over three million items (the numismatic collection accounts for about one third of them), including the largest collection of paintings in the world. The collections occupy a large complex of six historic buildings along, including the Winter Palace, a former residence of Russian emperors.

If cancellations received till May 04, 2018, the sum of payment will be refunded completely, minus banking costs.
If cancellation is made till May 25, 2018, the 40% of sum and the amount of banking costs will be charged. The rest of the payment will be reimbursed.
If cancellation is made after May 25, 2018 and in case of the no-show the penalty is 100% payment.
In all cases of cancellations all banking costs are covered by participants.
All refunds will be made within 2 weeks after the Symposium has been finished.
