Konus-Wind waiting-mode events

The page presents the transients found in the Konus-WIND waiting mode data. The transient events are searched using an automated procedure based on Bayesian block decomposition of the KW waiting mode data (Svinkin et al., in prep.) To date, the database contains ~26 000 events occurred in 1994–2017.

Of them, ~13 000 are soft-spectrum solar X-ray flare candidates and ~13 000 are hard-spectrum transients (including ~4000 triggered events). Using the CGRO-BATSE, BeppoSAX, Swift-BAT, Fermi-GBM, and GOES data, we have found ~6900 previously non-identified events (gamma-ray bursts, soft gamma-repeater bursts, and hard X-ray transient flares).
