MOLEC XVII Proceedings General information:

- In the tradition of MOLEC XV and XVI we plan a Special Issue in CAMOP / Phys. Scripta along the work presented at MOLEC XVII.

- CAMOP (Comments on Atomic, Molecular and Optical Physics) is one of the five Comment series of Phys. Scripta. See: http://www.iop.org/EJ/journal/PhysScr for more information on the Journal.

- Contributions are peer reviewed and only published in the Special Issue upon acceptance.

- The publication is handled via IOP, Institute of Physics (http:www.iop.org).

- For detailed questions you may contact the editor in charge of this Special Issue: Prof. H. Linnartz at linnartz@strw.leidenuniv.nl

 Deadlines and manuscript information:

- October 1st, 2008: send a preliminary title of your intended contribution to the guest editor Prof. Vasyutinskii osv@pms.ioffe.rssi.ru

- February 15th, 2009: submit your manuscript through the IOP online submission system.

1) Visit: http://authors.iop.org .

2) chose: "submit an article"

3) under "submit an article" chose "Physica Scripta" as a journal.

4) click "start submission"

5) fill in the document.

IMPORTANT: under select article type, select "comments"
IMPORTANT: under special issue details, write down "MOLEC XVII"

6) Click proceed and download the source files (latex, word, eps, jpg etc.).

- A good Comment puts work in a somewhat broader context, i.e. has a good introduction in order to get the non-specialist interested, discusses recent but not necessarily fully original results with details on experimental or theoretical techniques and goes somewhat further than a regular article in showing where a research result or research direction may be heading. Some speculation is very well appreciated.

- Meeting Contributions typically comprise 4 to 5 journal pages (about 3000 words plus 4 figures / tables, not including references).

- A Comment should not be regarded as an opportunity to extensively review own work.

- The special issue aims at publication in Summer 2009.

- All contributions will be downloadable for free in the first month after publication (for those who have no access to IOP journals) and the corresponding authors will receive a free hard copy of the Special Issue.
