Conference Location and Social Program
St. Petersburg is located on more than 100 islands where the river Neva meets the Finish Bay. It was founded 300 years ago by Peter the Great as a European capital of Russian Empire. Being designed and built by skilful European and Russian architects, it is often called "the Venice of the North" and is among the most beautiful cities in the world . It has an international airport that has daily connections with the main European cities. The end of June is one of the best seasons there. The weather is sunny with usual temperatures between 20 and 25 degree C. This is the time of short and light nights (the famous "White nights") known by cultural events and active night-life.
PLMCN are traditionally small format workshops that enjoy a convivial and warm atmosphere, extremely suitable for scientific creativity. Get-together party and lunches will be organized inside the Hotel Moscow for all the participants.
