Information to the speakers

Here we would like to draw the attention of the participants of ISIS-21 to the fact that, taking the duty of the symposium organization, we consider our aim as to revive the traditions characteristic for Mach Reflaction Symposium ab initio.

Namely, there will be no separation of invited, oral and poster presentation. All presentations will have the same status (oral). Presentation of work in progress will be welcome. We would like to have this symposium as an informal meeting, in which the participants will present their work and wide discussions will follow. Session chairs will be granted additional time resourse and will have freedom to prolong discussion of those papers, which attract stronger interest of the audience. For a few topics of general interest of all / majority of participants, round table / free discussions will be arranged.

The tradition of concluding speach, which is to summarize the symposium and to highlight the main prospects of research in the field of shock interactions in the near future, will be also revived.

Technical note

For presentations, a computer with MS Windows system and multimedia projector will be provided. MS Powerpoint or Acrobat PDF are most expected formats for presentations. You may also bring your own computer. Mac users are expected to have correspondent connector/adapter.
