The 21st International Shock Interaction Symposium is planned to follow the general line of the previous symposia in coverage of Scientific Areas in its program. But on the other hand, the Organizing committee decided to watch thoroughly all submission to be truly relevant to the title topic of the event: Shock (Blast) Interaction phenomena. Authors to be are encouraged to focus on this. Reviewers will be instructed to evaluate submissions from the viewpoint of the relevance to this main topic. With this provision, the possible submissions to ISIS-21 could be mainly dedicated to:

- Shock (blast) wave propagation, reflection and diffraction
- Shock (blast) wave focusing
- Shock/shock interaction

- Shock/vortex interaction
- Shock/boundary layer interaction
- Shock/obstacle interaction
- Shock/bubble interaction
