Riga will be the primary destination for the ISIS21 participants.

Riga is an easily accessible meeting point between eastern and western Europe. Direct flights from more than 80+ destinations. Airbaltic, locally based air carrier, provides many convenient flights – inexpensive, if booked well in advance. Riga’s airport is not far from the city center. It takes only 15 minute taxi ride (cost is ~€15, or $20). Lettuce-green Airbaltic taxis are reliable and can be pre-arranged on the same site. Cards are accepted onboard as well as cash.

Municipal bus #22 is an alternative. It costs €0.60 (with the ticket purchased at NARVESEN newsstand by the airport exit) or €1.20 cash, if paid to the driver. Boarding point is named "Lidosta" (means Airport). Passangers should alight at "13 Janvara iela" bus stop. Then there will be 750 meter walk to the ISIS21 venue at Raina bulvaris 19. The details of the bus traffic can be found here.

Train passangers arrive to the Central station at "Stacijas laukums"; coaches bring their passangers to the bus station Auto osta. Both are located in the vicinity of the abovementioned "13 Janvara iela" bus stop, so the walking distance will be fairly the same.

NB!: Please study the orientation map for the first symposium's day (Monday, August 04) in Riga. You may also catch the QR code below to have this map at hand in your mobile device.
