Visa Support Participants who need a visa to enter Russian Federation are to complete the relevant fields in the Visa Form here. To attend the scientific event in Russia one should apply for humanitarian visa. For participants from EU countries, China, and Japan, the official Invitation letter will be issued by Ioffe Institute. It takes approximately 2 weeks for receiving the original of the Invitation letter after completing the Visa Form. For UK, overseas participants, and Asian countries, other than specified above, the official Invitation Letter will be issued by Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation. It takes  one and half month to issue this letter after completing the Visa Form. These participants will be contacted personally by the Organizing Committee to accelerate the visa processing. The procedure of issuing humanitarian visa in Russian Embassies and Consulates takes 10-14 days after application, depending on the country. Important: All foreign visitors entering Russia must have a valid passport (expire date not earlier than 6 months after the departure date). The invitation will be issued for the staying period from Sept. 7 to Sept. 15, 2019, if not otherwise specified in the Visa Form (in Comments).
