Manuscripts and Proceedings
Conference proceedings will be published and the manuscripts
will be refereed before the conference. The manuscripts are expected to include
some new (unpublished) material, even if this material consists of preliminary
results. Manuscripts that simply reproduce, review, or summarize previously
published results will not be given serious consideration unless a review was
explicitly requested by the Editors. The conference proceedings will be
published as a special issue of Physica B: Condensed
Matter. The Guest Editors will be N.T. Bagraev, V.V. Emtsev,
and S.K. Estreicher.
Plenary and Invited speakers are allowed up to
8 and 6 printed pages, respectively, whereas Contributed
(oral, poster, Corbett) papers must not exceed 4 printed pages.
To evaluate the length of your manuscript please download and fill in
the "length calculation form". The completed "length calculation form" has to be submitted together with your manuscript. Please download, by clicking here, the Physica B instructions for the preparation of your manuscripts.
The manuscripts must be submitted in either Microsoft
Word or LaTeX formats. If you wish to submit your manuscript in Word format,
please download the
Word template
(ignore any warning about disabled or missing macros). That template gives a correct
indication of the length of a Word manuscript. Please download the
LaTEX template
for submission of your manuscript in that format. To referee the manuscripts efficiently
and quickly they have to be submitted also in Adobe Acrobat format (***.pdf file).
Since the Conference Program includes about 400 contributed
papers and the deadline of the Proceedings presentation at the Physica B office
is only two weeks after the Conference, we have to follow a preliminary referee's
procedure. Because of this, your manuscript, together with the items indicated below,
must be electronically submitted to the Editorial Board
icds25proceedings@mail.ioffe.ru
not later than June 25, 2009, 12:00 PM Coordinated Universal Time (U.T.C.)
formerly Greenwich Mean Time (G.M.T.). Therefore, the complete package contains:
- The electronic version of the manuscript in either Microsoft Word or LaTeX formats.
- Electronic versions of figures in TIFF, EPS, or PS.
- The completed "length calculation form".
- The electronic version of the manuscript in the Adobe Acrobat format (***.pdf file).
The manuscript and figures should be labeled with
both the corresponding author name and the index assigned to the corresponding
accepted abstract.
It should be noted again that all the papers will
be refereed before the conference. A limited number of computers
will be available at the editorial office during the conference. Minor revisions
can be done during the conference. Manuscripts that need major revisions must be
returned within two (2) weeks after the end of the conference. This deadline is firm.
Late papers will not be included in the proceedings.
